Turn pain into purpose
Discover the power of the mind to Heal and Create
I was moulded into a scapegoat before I even understood the meaning of the word. As a child and teenager, I carried the weight of blame, rejection, and emotional turmoil—anger and resentment became my armor. But beneath that pain was a mind yearning to create, not destroy.
This book is the story of my metamorphosis
Born into silence and shaped by survival, Jacqueline transformed a childhood marked by scapegoating and emotional isolation into a life of purpose, healing, and advocacy. Armed with a Psychology degree, a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a deep well of lived experience, she became a counsellor and author, using her voice to illuminate the path for others who’ve suffered in silence.
Her debut work, Journey Through Hell – Suffering in Silence, is a raw and unflinching account of early trauma, resilience, and the long road to self-understanding. Today, she continues that mission through her site offering insight, support, and solidarity to fellow scapegoats and other sufferers of abuse to navigate their own healing journeys.
With a focus on emotional empowerment and personal growth, Jacqueline challenges the stigma around counselling and mental health, proving that transformation is not only possible—it’s powerful. Her work is a testament to the idea that the most painful stories, when spoken aloud, can become the most liberating.
